Why do we celebrate Full Moons?
It is important to realize that every month at the Zodiacal Full Moon period the sun transmits zodiacal energies to the planet. And if we can focus and absorb them, our life can change.
Now when we consciously think about the energies and we tune into them, inner and outer changes can be possible - both on the individual, group, and human level. We have many things in us individually and in humanity that need change. We have a lot of problems, we need to resolve them.
Transformation does not occur through knowledge. Knowledge is a tool. Knowledge trains our mind, gives us the capacity for critical thinking, for questioning, but knowledge does not transform us. What transforms us is when we are able to receive, assimilate, and actualize energies that we receive as a result of a well-tuned mind, emotions, and physical body.
Now what are "higher energies"?
Higher energies are the higher road to life. They include such things as beauty, love, forgiveness, hope and faith in the future, striving, divine connection - all the virtues in our life, these are all called higher energies: beauty, freedom, joy. . . Knowledge prepares our minds for critical thinking so we are able to distinguish between higher and lower energies. It takes a clear mind to be able to see the difference.
The intention of observing full moons is to create magnetism in our individual and group aura. So, the intention is to create a receptacle, a magnetic receptacle to receive higher energies. So when we focus and center ourselves on the keynote of a full moon, what do we do? We fill our aura, because we are a receptacle, with those higher energies, it floats down on us, because we are focusing on it.
So the aura receives these energies. What is the aura? Simply put it is the radiation of exactly who you are, good bad and indifferent. Everything. Your aura is an exact energetic replica of who you are. Physically, etherically, emotionally, mentally, the presence of the Chalice, the presence of Higher Vehicles inside of you, as well as the presence of your Solar Angel. Everything that you are affiliated with, everybody is in your aura. If we are physically focused, the physical centers receive the energy from the aura. If we are emotionally centered, which many people are, the energy from the aura comes to the emotional centers. If we are mentally focused, that's where the energies come to. If we have the Higher Chalice vibrating and working, then the energies from the aura go to that, and so on.
So when we pull ourselves together, and we center, and focus, it helps us clear ourselves. Centering helps us clear obstructive thoughts, feelings, memories. So when we choose to center ourselves on a higher energetic thought, then our mind starts coming together. It is just like exercising our brain. This is why in every spiritual tradition, it is emphasized, to what? Discipline, focus, meditate, pray, right? It's not for any other reason but to help us transform our bodies, and bring them in together.
Why do we celebrate full moons? Because when we center ourselves, we become a receptacle for higher energies.
