I thought, since Cure got no musicvideo for their absolute fantastic song Burn, i could try and mix their old musicvideos with the song. I'm sorry about the bad quality, but i had some problem while saving it.

The cure is a great band...but it doesn't sound like Oingo Boingo! I am a child of the 80's and I went to see them in concert here in LA. Both bands are truly amazing and crazy...but they don't sound alike to me. A LOT???. Peace

Oingo Boingo is Danny Elfmans' old band. Elfman went on to doing sound for film; Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, and probably 100+ more highly promoted films, each of which was recognized for it's sound production. Even the music that introduces The Simpsons.
Elfman is a genius.
However, IMO, music of The Cure highly overshadows that of Oingo Boingo. OB music sounds like carnival music to me.
The Cure (Disintegration and before) is amazing. Post Dis is horrible, to my ears!

I'm a big fan of Danny Elman, I love the soundstracks of Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Corpse Bride...
However, I must confess that I didn't know he had a band called Oingo Boingo :P
I'm also a HUGE fan of The Cure... IMO, Disintegration, Bloodflowers and Wish are their best albums... Of course they've changed a bit after Disintegration, but I still love them!
