At that time, the hot pipe wasn't connected. When we connected it to the carb, we had to richen the mixture which tells us that it IS producing boost higher than atmospheric pressure

Put a deflector in the exhaust to force the pulses towards the turbine. The extra turbulence will spin up the turbo where flow is lacking. Saab did that to eliminate turbo lag in their engines and still allow the use of a larger turbine to reduce backpressure. If you can (very carefully) drill out your main jet, that will help as well. Fix up an oil reservoir above the turbo so it can get oil via gravity. It won't spin up if there's a lot of friction.

First off all this guy did was change the pulley configuration, the oil lines and intake aren't even connected. Wanna see a real mower check me out, I got a husquavarna that runs sixty easy without a bare turbo lol.
