I can understand what your saying but England is a country not just within the UK but the world it's just that in the most part its seen as the UK because of the Union but it is a country. Scotland is a country, NI Ireland is a country and Wales would be classed as one although it has been a prinicpality of England for several hundred years and has never really been a full country.

This video is not only hilarious, but very clever due to the way creates irony about such a serious affair. And yes England is a country, officially holding the title of "Consituent" country within the UK.
As well as this, Mel Brooks has a right to mock the horrific events of WW2. He's jewish, and several other jewish comedians, including Sacha Baron Cohen, have done similar Nazi/Hitler parodies. So stop being so serious everybody and enjoy a genius's work.
