my dad served in the SBS for almost 6 years and he said that yes the british special forces it the best trained in the world but he did this operation somewhere and he said this american block took a bullet for him. so yeah, the old yanks arn't all bad.

so true, the m4 and m16 are known for their long range and accuracy, not for their power, the AK-47 can shoot through a breeze blockt...it can be argued that one of the reasons that there was no clear winner of the vietnam war was because of the AK-47, it was the better weapon to use in a jungle climate because range and accuracy wasnt needed in the jungle, power was...same is applied to the m4 in iraq, its too sandy, the m4 jams, the AK-47 doesnt...however, the m4 has range, the AK doesnt.

In my opinion, the M16 is almost the total opposite of the AK47
AK 47: has power, very reliable, and not so accurate.
M16: less power, not so reliable, but hell accurate.
