Flashback 20 years ago to Husker Du's final tour which went on despite their 24-year old manager David Savoy committing suicide earlier that year. Here they are performing "Pink turns to Blue" at the Provinssirock festival in Seinäjoki*, Finland on June 6, 1987. That big stage gives Greg plenty of room to do his thing, look at him prance around the stage with such energy. Fortunately, he has now come out of retirement from music to play in a band called Gang Font Featuring Interloper.

many people consider this song to be the first emo song it was recorded in 1983 way b4 embrace coined the term that ian later hated, emo-core. zen arcade isnt emo-core its music great music with many different styles on show husker du showed the world that they were much more than a hardcore punk band and its still amazing 25 years later
