In the video with Timbaland's response to Acidjazz Ripoff controversy Nepbaland says: "Yes, I delete racist comments, repetitive comments aka spam, idiotic comments, nonsense comments, etc..."
He lies. He deletes practically all contradictory comments. No matter how polite or logical they are. He even leaves the blatant lies and misconceptions (he would call it nonsense comments). He is a liar and deserves no respect at all. Update 8.feb 2007: Someone called Nepbaland has posted a video-response to this video, featuring an interview with Timbaland. Following quote is from the interview:

When I posted my comment to the video posted by Nepbaland, it was removed. The comment said that Timbaland is clueless and that it was never used in videogame and that's just actual composition by Glenn Rune Gallefoss (you can read the rest of the info later in this text). Actually as it seems, Timbaland was trying to be insulting, not pretending to be clueless.
I provide a link to the transcription of the stuff that Timbaland says in the interview. Most of this is showing the discrescpect and arrogance towards the original composer (2000) and later arranger (2002) of the original tune which Timbaland had falsely claimed as his.

C64 demo released on 20. January 2007 by Chronic, featuring a music called AcidJazz.sid arranged by Glenn Rune Gallefoss (2002). The tune got sampled and used in Nelly Furtado's song "Do It" without permission.
Original author of the music is Tempest (Janne Suni) who released the Acidjazzed Evening in 2000 at Assembly 2000 demoscene party in Finland. Glenn Rune Gallefoss made a cover of the tune in 2002 with permission of the original author.
In 2005 GRG's version got first used in a mobile ringtone called BlockParty (produced by Timbaland) and later (2006) it was used in "Do it", Credits to "Do it" goes like this: Written by Nelly Furtado, Tim Mosely (Timbo) and Danja (Nate Hills). Produced by Timbaland and Danja. However the Acidjazz.sid music (which you are hearing in the video) was used without permission.

Argh. I wonder why there is so much stupid people on youtube trying to sound wise. ;-) The "shit" had copyright embeded directly in the file and every good SID music player shows the "CREDITS" including author, years of compositiong and "label" under which it was composed.. why of why all those dumb people still abuse the "post comment" funciton..

This just proves it even further thats it is an sample. I've listen to the Do It song over and over and learned to actual play on my keyboard. Its not the same. This really has no case at all. Dude the song only sounds like the first 21 secs of the tune.I know I listen to the damn song everyday. Where you getting this whole song I have no idea.Oh and you for got Kanye, Nas, Twista, Pharrell,Busta, and hella lot more. Or the pop scene Madonna, and Britney and Christina and Justin. But you forgot that he yes.. used it in the ringotone (distributed in USA) in 2005 where it wasn't just barely distinguishable background, but full blown original ,melody with drums put over it. I don't know how would you call that, but I wouldn't have problem to call that stealing ;)

This isn't a video game song. It's an independently made chiptune from an Amiga (later arranged on Commodore 64). And Nintendo has sued people back to the dark ages. They sued Blockbuster for renting NES games without instruction manuals. The fact is, Timbaland stole, not sampled, an original composition. Ignorance isn't an excuse for. He's been in music for at least 10 years. He knows you have to clear samples. And he knows he didn't create this song. So the fault rests with him.

This was not a sample from a game. It was sample of a work of an independet artist and never was used in a videogame. Yes it was instrumental composition using 3 channel music chip SID but that doesn't apology the "theft" ;-)

he only took 16 secs of the whole beat and added a drum pattern plus some other melodies in the nelly furtado song...in my opinion thats called sampling.
Plus hes not the only producer who does that ,almost every producer has done it once,but he had bad luck by getting caught.
I mean i honnestly like the timbaland beat better than the janne sunni one.
