Hi, its a flamenco Latin Percussion Mario Cortez cajon...... the flamenco cajon its like the son of the peruvian cajon... the difference its that the flamenco one have 4 guitar strings added inside for the snare emulation, i have one exactly like the video. bye

and i read somewhere that paco de lucia in 1983 was the mind behind the flamenco cajon. the article said that he added the 4 strings because he had a vision. nice done :)

Bueno, el Cajon es peruano sin duda, sin embargo el Maestro Paco lo ha hecho famoso y su sonido especial ahora so aplican no solo al flamenco sino en muchos generos musicales, en este video se ven algunas tecnicas bastante buenas, pero el mejor sonido creo que sale de un festejo o vals criollo.

Yes you do can do a little pitch thing with your leg (use your heel) !! you have to use bit of strengh and great timing=) by the way this guy doesnt play that cajon so good it´s ok but it´s not awesome. Plus the cajon ain´t so good shitty cajon sound.....
