Actually, what you see is quite real. But Ironically, Hutchinson doesn't actually KNOW what it is that he's achieved, or how to properly articulate his findings. He's just a relatively smart guy who plugged a bunch of machines into each other and DISCOVERED something. He's no more an "inventor" as Ben Franklin, when he discovered electricity. It's up to the rest of the planet, and the scientific community to decide HOW this will be used.

Sorry to break it to all the ignorant people out there... It's simply real. If you know anything about waves, and key waves, what he's doing is quite simple. He's basically creating an altered field of space around the object, which compresses the atoms within, and nullifies gravity. However, this also disrupts the basic structure of the atom, rearranging and liquifying it... Do your research. Simply saying "it's fake"--because you're scared and ignorant doesn't make it so.

Athbaan makes a good point. He didn't prove anything, but what he said did not require you to be a dickweed.
I say we assume it's fake, because it sort of seems that way, but we don't completely shut the door on this. There is a slight chance it's real. It's worth looking into at least.

My old Science teacher at High School once worked as an independant scientist himself for a few years, before taking up teaching. He explained to me that unless a scientist is given grants, or works for a company or a school (as my teacher is obviously doing now) there isn't much in the ways of income to finance their experiments. Thats probably the answer your looking for behind the points you raised.
