One, Allah translates to "God" and they follow the same universal god that Christians do, but they just believe that blowing themselves up will please him which is immoral.
Second, this is the melting pot. We don't ALL believe in Christianity. Some citizens have come from other parts of the earth and have other faiths such as MUSLIM. Thus, doesn't that mean that the American Muslims also believe in our shining light?
Also, to that obviously illiterate liberal, if our soldiers didn't protect our country, where would you be? Dead.

Plus, what do you mean by "current leaders in America"? There are both Liberal and Conservative "leaders" (your perhaps exaggeration of politician) everywhere in our political system.
I believe I DO get the point. Edward Current is so one-sided as to say that Christianity is the "light of America" putting religion in politics, and he is discouraging any other beliefs (religion, politics...) besides his own.

Christians killed millions of people in the Crusades.
Christians have conquered many many countries (and committed genocide in the process...countries like America, many South American countries, etc....and forced people to convert)
And...oh yeah, Christians used the BIBLE as an excuse for slavery in AMERICA.
By the way...do you even know what jihad means? (I mean the ACTUAL definition not the corporate media's definition)
Jihad, in general, means to struggle for betterment. It can (and is most often used) mean a PERSONAL, INTERNAL struggle, to improve one's self.
It can mean a war, if it's a struggle against persecution and oppression. But, even historically, when it was a war, forced-conversion of Christians and Jews was considered WRONG. There are rules against harming women are children in it as well.
9/11 violated the Islamic laws of jihad (Islamic laws are defined by four law schools).
But I don't think you can spread Democracy throwing up bombs on people's heads!!! Then, of course, they can only hate you for that!
Moreover, I really think that a lot of Americans are so fanatic as a lot of Muslims of the Near East! So you're not "the good guys"!
