It's not techno dude, its Italo disco. Remember, at this time this song was made, America already had a serious backlash against disco, but Europe continued to make disco music. This is what popular dance music sounded before house & techno came around (in Europe that is).

I'm an old school new yorker, does anyone recall the music being used for wpix channel 11 new york pix computer game on tv. I think you could only play this game with the phone. Wow back in the days when life was so much easier. Bring back the summer of 1980. I would go in a heartbeat. No drama, just great music, roller skating & many discos to chose from.
