NAILED! I play bass in a female fronted cover band. We cover "Somebody to Love", but at the risk of being found out... I prefer your 'Grace' interpretation. Don't le 'em bother you about your vibrato. It wasn't overdone, in my opinion good call!

Michelle's rendition is about as close as Grace singing this song herself. How about giving Michelle major props? It takes guts and REAL GUTS to sing a song by a living legend with easily the best voice among female vocalists, and then NAIL it. And this is coming from someone who was to go to Juilliard. Michelle - awesome job.

This is a big leap for a singer to cover, I agree. I am by no means Grace Slick with her mighty voice--It was just an honor to do this---I came full circle with this one--since Grace was my Number one inspiration to become a singer.

The "band" was canned (on tape),,The only thing LIVE was my VOCALS, The musicians were actually dancers. LOL.
I guess the producers liked the way the keyboards looked on TV...I agree not authentic.
