Just heard dis song for the first time dis morning & found it very dull and repetitive. Just had a watched the video & i get the idea of the song, as someone else said: 'tells all da young ladies/women that dey can be whoever dey wanna be & do wotever dey wanna do!
Except i didn't see a single white woman in this video so i guess you can do whatever you want to do girls, as long as you're black.
Im not trying to be racist as i used to live in Africa, but this video comes across as pretty racist!

I don't see anything wrong with black women empowerment. When you think about it there aren't that many productive role models for women of color in the United States. I'm a white woman and I'd love to see more empowerment like this among every race.
