With electric steering, you can see a time where even something like steering into a skid, will be done by the stability control computer, without the driver having to move the wheel.

Very sad to see what has been done to the 7 series. It is an absolute disgrace. E38 is by far and away the greatest looking saloon ever BMW ever made. 'Comfort, Normal, Sport, Super Plus' give me a break who is going to leave it in a mode called normal??? BMW having a mechanical wank.

TrueStory, I love BMW, but even Mercedes, BMW and Audi have all made nothing but ugly cars within the last 8 years ( aside from the R8 and a Select few from MB/BMW ).

japanese are much better for technology because they are always one step ahead but germans build quality is a very high standard and overall quality is very high, although lexus's new cars are better then german cars because they now have the looks to compete

Name one thing you can find on a lexus that you can't find on a mercedes or bmw. Lexus' new thing is Pre-Collision, hmm where did they get that from, the mercedes system Pre-Safe introduced in 2001?! Plus a lexus will never compare to the driving feel of a high end bmw or mercedes, my brother has an M6 and the car is so controlled you would swear it is glued to the pavement. No one would ever pay upwards of 100-150K for a lexus. I test drove the 08' LS, its like an expensive, oversized camry.
