i wanted either sweden or ukraine to win. but the lyrics of the ukraine song aren't as good as hero's. i even have the song on my mp3 and i listen to it everyday. i still dont get how russia won, and i think charlotte's voice is amazing,and she is very pretty.

thats not true. in eurovision 2008 she simply wears a lot of make up on the corners of her eyes, her eyes arent that big. She looks very pretty in the music video of the 2008 song.

Why is everybody saying she was more beautiful then? I remember in 1999 how people said she looked like a slut. Therefore, I have a small suggestion: Let's leave her look alone and focus on her potential as a performer instead.

De roliga är att framträdandet inte ens var nått speciellt..men jag tror hon rodde hem det för att låten fastnar nästan direkt när man hör den, sen kanske även texten spelade in. Har dock fått höra i efterhand att bidragen det året var usla..men det känns meningslöst att säga at det var därför hon vann, för hon sjöng låten med bravur, och jag tycker Hero är bättre för denna e lite uttjatad nu..!!!

Ja, 1999 anses vara den sämsta Eurovision-finalen någonsin... men den förtjänade ändå att vinna och passade perfekt in i ABBA-vågen som gick över Europa just det året.
