Santa Baby - (Sorry, this was never Marilyn) - Cynthia Basinet 1997, Christmas

"... one of the most sultry.seductive voices around." - ARTISTdirect.com
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Thanks for enjoying. :-)
Also in the 'Party Monster' movie soundtrack... and a special 2003 Christmas In The Barrio performance. This gal is SULTRY WITH CAMP! Produced by Ian Victorian.
NOTE: If you have a file with Marilyn Monroe on it, YOU ARE LISTENING TO AN ILLEGALY DOWNLOADED FILE. Marilyn NEVER recorded this song. The correct singer of the version is Cynthia Basinet.
(This was never Cynthia's intent when she recorded it in 1997, as a gift. Launching it worldwide in 1999, when it became a #1 hit. She then utilized this exposure to raise awareness for refugees living in the W. Sahara and culminating into a shared Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 for reconciliation and reconstruction.)
And yes, Santa baby, we all know Eartha Kitt is the original. Recorded some 55 years ago.
Thanks for all the kind comments.

Been trying to find out who sang this lovely version for ages now.
there is NO marilyn version. this is the version oft thought to be marilyn, which was never the intent of the singer.
it is due to illegal file sharing since 2000. Am sure as a fellow artist, you can imagine what it feels like to have music you recorded, financed, and distributed attributed to someone else...
even if you, mezzosoprano97 have never heard such.
The problem remains nonetheless.
