oh common I was just teasing.....but Diego's sound is to wimpy for my tastes...he's like a castratti....I like a tenor with some body to his sound...something more substantial..The young Pavarotti had a beautiful lyric line in the upper register but he also had a nive round fat middle sound that threw the upper register into sharp relief in contrast..........so if you chose to listen to a "girly" tenor go ahead, but don't expect a lot of respect from us mach guys!! LOL!!!!

bravo Juan Diego. The rest of you, I mean the most recent posts, can't recognize a beautiful, natural voice when you hear it. Corelli was great, and there will never be another, nor should there be. What's lost, has been lost forever. Juan Diego Florez is the best, most consistent commercial tenor on the operatic market today. Don't be haters, and live the present. Stop comparing. What use is it?
