And one thing you should always do when you slow down; move to the slow lane!! Most people tailgate because the person in front is going at a slow speed in the fast lane, and don't say that you're already at speed limit, the drivers' manual of VA, USA says that you should move to slower lane if others around you are going faster, no mention of speed limit here (and I'm sure so is the case with other drivers' manuals).

Larger vehicles need longer to stop. US probably recommends 3sec rule as cars driven here are bigger than those in EU.

Although if I signal left on our Danish roads, and then pull into the slow lane (on my right), I'll probably be killed :)
Remember that this video is made for countries driving on the left side of the road, and compensate accordingly throughout the information. Speed limits aren't the same in all countries, but the 2-second rule ALWAYS APPLIES! Even better if you follow the 3- or 4-second rule :)

That's a really good thing to do! I mean let them pass. That's what they want. They are just want to drive faster then you do. Some people feeleng bad when overtaken by others, and braking suddenly to scare off the one behind, risking an accident. Idiots.
