Usage of anaesthesia was well known in ancient India. Dental (tooth extraction) and Rhinoplasty (nose job) surgery was also being done. During vedic times, a person who committed adultery had his nose cut off ! Ouch!
9. When many cultures in the world were only nomadic forest dwellers over 5000 years ago, Indians established Harappan culture in Sindhu Valley (Indus Valley Civilisation).
10. The place value system, the decimal system was developed in India in 100 BC.

12. Chakra (from Sanskrit)--a wheel, a circle, a disk, an infinite loop, center of energy, Lord Krishna's weapon.
