if it helps, the paint he used was made with non-toxic organic ingredients. maybe if the elephant knew he was helping to convey an important message he would be ok with donating his time to the artist.

When have you seen a happy elephant? It didn't seem too worried to me, but I think it's just the elepahnt's facial structure, like a Bloodhound they have naturally sad looking faces...it's non-toxic paint, Banksy definantly wouldn't hurt an animal
