Tens of thousands of public comments supporting Net Neutrality flooded the Federal Communications Commission before the close of the agency's official inquiry on July 16. In a landslide, well over 95 percent of the comments called for rules that prohibit phone and cable companies from discriminating against Web sites or services.
People from different backgrounds, living in every corner of the country, demand this basic Internet freedom. Internet users from all 435 congressional districts used SavetheInternet.com's online tools to send personal messages to the FCC.

to reply to your comment: you did not invent democracy, the Greeks did, and you dont even use it in your country. The first computer was invented in Germany as well as the jet engine. And lastly, WWII was mostly a European affair, and America wasn't bothered that much, however, we did support the allies (trade, etc) even before were attacked by the Japanese. When these company's finally get their way & they will. The only thing We can do as informed & well educated Americans is to practice our freedoms with a full blown, full scale boycott of all the company's involved & when they back down We need to continue the punishment by maintaining the boycott until legislation is put in place to ensure that no corporations can or ever will do anything again to ever attack innovation & freedom again. If they attempt to get a bailout, refuse to pay taxes.
