I love this film, and especially this moment - classic Waters, "Taking A Chance on Love" but it cuts off before the end of the song, where Waters does some beautiful riffs, and starts after her little introduction, again with some classic riffs...

There is a rare piece of 1969 black and white footage with Diana Ross introducing Miss Ethel Waters singing "Suppertime" on the Live at The Hollywood Palace program broadcast by ABC television; Ethel & Diana duet on an old blues number, "Bread & Gravy," earlier in the same program. If someone has this, please post!!!

Hmmm...I doubt a good Christian woman of the first part of the century would publish her bisexual status. I doubt there are tabloids featuring her bisexual status, nor people doing it out of spite or for fame. Baker, Smith, Hunter, Rainey, they were all a bit queer. The dancer, Ethel Williams, was one of Water's girlfriends. How about that in your pipe?
