there are christian houses of worship in qatar jordan lebanon egypt turkey there are synagogues in damascus and iran search it on google and the christians in the middle east face less discrimination than muslims in europe

actually you'll find that when the Muslims ruled Spain for 800 years it was anything but the dark ages, the dark ages was a term used to describe the rest of Europe and not Spain under Islamic rule, a lot of great famous mathematicians, scientists, historians, artists, scholars and architects lived in Spain during this period. The Muslims were peaceful and tolerant of all faiths.

The term La Convivencia was used to describe the situation in Spain at that time which means coexistence. So next time you make silly comments about Spanish Muslims learn your history and find out who the real terrorists were during what you like to the 'dark ages. Muslim is not a race. Mind u. We have a universal truth and whoever accepts this truth of unity of GOD becomes the part of Muslim comunity. By the way 5.6 million Spainiards accepted Islam and becom epart of Muslim comunity without force during Muslim reign. Because Muslim rule was tolerant. But Christian rulers afterwards slaughtered millions of Iberian Spainyards on the name of religion i-e christianity.

There r churches and synagogues throughout eGYPT. Coptic Cairo is the area where about 15 churches and one synagogue is present. Most of the churches are built during Muslim rule though u can see churches back to 1st century AD in and monastries in early christian era in Sinai desert. They r oldest christia monastries in the world and no Muslim ruler caused damage to these. This is Muslim tolerence.

it's so easy for you to say "why don't they just leave". The fact is due to the corrupt governments and bad economical systems in the middle east, many people chose to leave because they need food for their children. People don't immigrate just for the sake of being somewhere else. Im middle eastern, and in most muslim countries, they do accept the 3 main religions. (judaism, christianity, and islam). In islam it is a requirement to recognize and respect these 3 religions.

seriously... all egyptians in egypt are opressed. theres no descrimination against christians there.. its impossible! their holidays are official holidays, they create their own movies.. most famous director Youssef Chahine is christian! there are MANY christian schools there.. and the government is keane on giving them seats. egyptians in general are surpressed by the government thats why they would feel unhappy
