He talks a lot about ending the war in Iraq but as a sitting Senator he has taken no action. I think he will do like Nixon did when he promised in 1968 to get us out Vietnam only to promise the same thing 4 years later and get reelected in a landslide victory. Funny how history repeats itself.

I can see why you would support this man. Knowing nothing about any of the other candidates and solely based on this ten minute section of this speech I have to say that if I was a voting American I would vote for that man in the hope that he becomes the next president.
Would I ever vote knowing nothing about any of the candidates except one, and of that one only knowing what he said in one ten minute section of a speech? No, of course not. I'm also not an American.

Melissa, Don't pay any attention to the negative comments posted here Cynicism, and lack of faith in humanity will never lift us up. But don't let it drag you down either. You are doing a fabulous job!
I was there as a volunteer and I am so elated that thanks to you I 'm able to watch the speech again (right away) and share it with all the volunteers that couldn't make it to SB. KEEP IT UP! And to all you negative people....post your poison someplace else.

Think about it. He is in the US Senate right now and he is doing NOTHING to stop the war. Look at his Words vs Actions. Why would that change once he gets to the Whitehouse. He might have been against starting the war in Iraq but he has never said he wants to lose the war in Iraq. A premature withdrawal is a loss and he isn't going to be a President who loses a War. His pride will not let him do that.

But instead they decided to finish what their own Vice President said was a stupid idea back when he was Secretary of State and throwing away the aid of our allies by doing so.
