Great video for what NOT to do at an MVA w/extriction: no hoseline, not everyone is wearing FULL protective gear (i.e. gloves, eye protection, etc.). SAFETY FIRST! (nice video, though)

I could only find one person not wearing gloves and that was the incident commander who was talking on the radio. The only other person without full protective gear was the mock patient. The mock patient was protected in the same way any patient in a car crash would be protected.

(cont.) A 20lb. ABC dry chem fire extinguisher was on location. All of the fluids and the battery were removed prior to us receiving the car, so the fire hazard was essentially non existent. As the video was a school project, and not meant to be a training video, all details of extrication were not covered. For example, fire protection was provided for but not portrayed in the video. The video is a recruitment video, rather than a training video.
