i agree. they used to be pure noise, oppressive brutality and have gradually spent more and more time on 'production' and 'clever writing' than the purely violent soul which made them great in the first place.

True they are political in what they sing about but musically their style is not metal by any means. Rage is 90's alternative/hard rock and system of a down is nu metal.Which although I don't like them it matters little to me as that is the sound they were going for when they started whereas Pig Destroyer seems to have gone from grindcore to nu metal. This song seems to be their enter sandman so to speak.
