Because Fifth Gear got racing drivers and no journalists it just isn't entertaining. (They try but fail iserably)
If I want sensibl and "proper" review, I'll go on the internet or buy a magazine and read what the different journalists have to say about the car. But who would want to watch a TV-show full of boring reviews? I don't.
