oh most assuredly America is the most powerful single nation in the world in terms of its Military might and economic supremacy, if you count the number of American military bases around the world, America could be seen to occupy 46% of the worlds surface, and thats not even counting its huge cultural grip on third world countries and Europe.

I know what you are saying, maffedied, God Save The Queen is alot about history, and that is why it is still about the Queen, both the American and English are steeped in history togehter. I am from the UK and you should be very proud of Holland, they are the most nice, down to earth people I have met and worked with. God bless The Netherlands :)

Yes that is right,and the American flag was taken from a British battle flag,I think it was a battle flag, that had the union jack to the left with the stripes.The American flag has stars to the left ,same flag almost.Thanks England ,and we have the 4th of July because of England also,and you know, I think we even speak English
