As for the 250K--you're not talking about money that came directly from one person, but also includes associates, so the 10-15K was from Rezko. But, you're also talking about money raised during his State/Senate campaigns, not the presidential campaign.
And my timeline of 20 years was in reference to a comment about Obama being arrested as a student at Occidental...

There is something admirable about most people, even those we consider to be the most heinous, especially from a polical perspective. Reagan was elected twice so he had some appeal. Any winning politician has to look at those who won previously and see what they did well. Condemning Obama for being able to look at Reagan and admire his ability to get crossover voters is overlooking an important step to becoming successful.
