So truckers spend up to 18 hours or so on the road in a hard ass seat for maby 18 cents a mile and have the possibility of doing any of the images in this movie for what now? The Joy? I think not... We have trains that can take your trailers WHOLE why are we still on the road polluting the air?

hey alphaman sorry but its illegal for them to be driving 18 hours a day 16 is the maximum and u actually get paid $1.60 a mile the seats are very confortable....also ur trains thoery id liek to see u driving down the highway and ur stoped by a train trying to back into a store to unload the 1 trailer out of the 100+ that they have on each train so trains are just ridiculous

We all try and keep the rubber side down and the fact is truckers are the safest drivers in the world. We average 100k-150k miles and more a year and of the over 7 million of us on the road we are involved in around 7% of fatalities. Approximately 1% are the fault of the driver. There are nearly 50k traffic fatalities in this country every year. We do the best we can, 4 wheelers need to start doing their part too. Thanks for the vid truckerfunlive!

lots of accidents with trucks happen because the driver feel himself so safe that he can read a book and he doesnt watch the road and he crashes...

Hello to all, I am gratefull to our wonderful Lord who kept me from winding up in an accident.Oh there were so many close calls,I drove truck across Canada and US,about 379K miles in 5 yrs,from California to N.Y.,from Texas to Ohio.You have a beautifull and a very large country,and I know that all the truckers try their best to avoid acidents,but sometimes the unthinkable happens:(.I would like to thank all drivers who sacrificed themselves to save the lives of others,may God bless you all.Russ

It is easier to look at these images and cast blame on the driver than to think of what really happened. As a driver I can say, without a doubt, that we truckers never ever want to get involved in an accident. We are not perfect, but we know, from first hand experience, what a responsibility it is to sit behind the wheel of such a large vehicle and how impossible it is to stop on a dime! Russ

Good Pictures. Just a rookie here, only 3 (safe) years behing the wheel. But to all the folks that are driving 4 wheelers out here, stay away from the big trucks. You guys are clueless to the destruction that one of these machines can cause to property and lives. And the sad part is it is not the general public's fault. Lack of education on our governments part. Be safe and remember stay away from the big truck.
