This is a really great video. but its repetitive. you could have put a story into it or something. change it up a little or something. because its the same thing over and over for 6 mins. but thats my only complaint really. I liked it alot

It is old and...well more than kinda racist but none the less known as a way of saying "You have NO room to talk smak about me!" ofcourse I'm an old fart (still love this band though) and might not have it right anymore.

Its probably not about pot, its probably representing something. This is one of the few masterpieces of tool's that i havent looked at the lyrics yet, but i can garentee you, this band wouldnt make a song on something so simple.
First song i ever heard of thiers though, its amazing.

Not Marijuana, just hypocritical in general is what the song is about. "Who are you to wave your finger?" Blaming someone for something you yourself are guilty of. It's a vague symbolism but it has nothing to do with drugs of any sort unless if that's what you base the song on. IE a smoker calling you a pot head...

Yeah like I said a long time ago, "You must of been high." is reiterating something like, "Are you not thinking strait? Are you really that stupid?" Thus saying the person must of been high is like saying, "Oh I see you were high, ok I get it. Your really not that stupid you just had other shit going on." :P

I read that the song is directed at a group which were referred to as "Kangaroo Courts". From my understanding they were citizens who thought they were higher than the Legislative Courts. The "crime" they liked to convict peope of most was marajuana use. In a sense the Kangaroo Courts are the pot calling the kettle black. When reading the lyrics this makes sense.
