Then in Denmark it ... ( 3 months ago by chomperface)
Then in Denmark it should stay. The healthcare system there is provided through the heavy taxation of the people from local municipalities. Such reputed high quality equates to a high price. Without reform of our current entitlement system and deficit spending (which big government will never allow),this would place too heavy a burden on an already overtaxed America. More socialization is not the answer in this country.
we need government ... ( 2 months ago by itzahazylife)
we need government to make laws, pass laws, and manage the national budget...we don't need them involved in our personal lives managing things that should be locally and personally managed...it's against the founding fathers advice...the federal government has no place in the personal affairs of it's citizens
It's so funny how ... ( 2 months ago by funkyflights)
It's so funny how most people in here are so afraid a a universal health care system ... you guys are being brain washed into thinking it doesn't work ... I have family in England and THEY LOVE THERE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM AND WOULD BREAK ANYONES ARM WHO TRIED TO CHANGE IT ... they feel it's a human right and will never allow it to be taken away ... so is England a Socialist country ? I think not

Socialist ... ( 2 months ago by harriscooper)
Socialist healthcare doesn't work? I like Mr Paul, but sometimes he doesn't know what he's saying. Has this man ever been to Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Austria, GREAT BRITAIN, and Denmark? These countries have the best living standards and all have one thing in common: Socialist Democratic systems - nationalized health care.
BS.... you have no ... ( 2 months ago by funkyflights)
BS.... you have no idea what your talking about ... England is NOT A SOCIALIST COUNTRY they just care more about there citizens and provide health care for everyone... stop making excuses
Ron Paul has many, ... ( 2 months ago by fivestarmichael)
Ron Paul has many, many good ideas... he just isn't very articulate. What do we want? We end up with slick talkers, instead of people we agree with.
Socialist policies ... ( 2 months ago by CloverExpress)
Socialist policies will not work as well in America as those other countries. America is simply too large among other things. Not to mention those health care systems are not as unflawed as you may think, and those problems would be greatly amplified if such techniques were put to use in a larger country.
So let me get this ... ( 2 months ago by 38DSB)
So let me get this straight - rich people choose to leave Canada for healthcare. Which implies Canada's healthcare is not as good as that in the U.S. At the same time, the "middle class" Canadians can't afford to come to the U.S. for their healthcare. If they had more of their money back (because their tax rate is higher than ours), however, they COULD afford to come here.
So you're advocating keeping the non-rich of Canada stuck in an inferior system by taxing the crap out of them?
The average ... ( 2 months ago by gsingh5)
The average canadian could probably handle a medical crisis in a private sytem much better than the average american-we have less debt, less insurance premiums, etc..
WHO has consistently ranked our healthcare better than ours.Beleive me, if you have an emergency, you will get healthcare immedately. The lineups only happen if people abuse the system or in the case of specialists
I'm not saying that our system is perfect. But for the average, its better
the best healthcare ... ( 1 month ago by xaviqaz)
the best healthcare system in Europe is the Netherlands one, and is much more private than nacionalized systems around

Germany and France are going through stagflation, and have high unemployment. They have lost all of their best minded people because of government intervention in the economy and most of those people made the US computer industry the best.

No no no, get your ... ( 3 weeks ago by vforusa777)
No no no, get your facts straight. It won't work, for America too nationalize healthcare it would cost 57 Trillion dollars. Why?-Population. If you add up Sweden, Brititan, and Frances populations up you still won't get ours. It doens't work, get over it!
dude we have ... ( 2 weeks ago by funkyflights)
dude we have Socialism in America already ... we've been brain washed to think it's so bad... total Socialism is bad ... but in certain areas it can work just fine ... Social security , Police force , Fire department , public Library,, stop being brain washed ... government should always stay outta our business in certain things but there are some things where we need government control ... we just need laws so no one person can control it all ..
