If you mean I haven't been on Broadway, no, I haven't. If you mean I haven't been trying out all the methods they've used to get there then yes I have. In the theater you really can't reach your full potential until everything is done maturing, especially with the voice. but you haven't done those things either. Movies and musicals are like apples and oranges. Sweeney Todd just wasn't good for film and Johnny Depp just isn't a stage actor.

Obviously George is a better singer than Depp; I mean, come on, it's not like Johnny has much training with singing and he was never a professional singer (although he has been in bands.) I love the music & the play, but the singing this is obviously better (and I'm a huge johnny depp fan saying this.)

ok i love johnny depp but im not just saying this because of my love for him. johnny depp is a better singer, by far. but in all honesty the movie had no emotion whatsoever. they play was a much much much much MUCH more human....

...Am I the only one who get's slightly irritated by how some people talk like americans, and others with (incredibly)bad accents?
Why do they do that?! I can accept an american cast talking in their normal accents even though it's set in London, but why the fake accents? :S

because it's their setting that'd make the play shitty if you watched it and they spoke regular. Then you'd be sitting here and saying it's set in london isn't it shouldn't they have more english voices.

The guy that okays Pirelli has an english accent. In the play, Pirelli is really an Irish man named Daniel O'Higgins who pretends to be the Italian Aldolfo Pirelli. Hope that clears things up for all who were confused lol
