Thin Lizzy was a HUGE influence on a lot if not most of the early metal bands. Maiden has even covered them before. That said, if it was Bruce's voice instead of Phil, I might mistake this song for Maiden

Well I'm not going to compare bands! I will say this though - Thin Lizzy were definitely one of the better rock bands to see live back in the 70's - If you have "Live & Dangerous" you will understand why! They always put everything they had into their shows - & did their very best to give their fans the best show possible.... That is why whenever you watch or see a video of them performing live the fans are always into it & the show is very energetic! Phil Lynott was great man R.I.P.!
