get your facts straight you idiot. porsche abondoned the 4 cylinder boxer motor in the late 70's!!! technology that subaru takes credit for now????? all wheel drive technology first developed and proven in the late 70's by audi-porsche on the quattro or super car porsche martini 959. i don't believe any of those engines you mentioned produced anything near 300hp. and just because subaru happens to use a similar flat 4 engine doesn't mean they stole the idea, that's like saying every other auto company stole the idea of a mass produced consumer vehicle from ford.

and before you start accusing me of not knowing anything about porsches, consider the fact that i have an 07 carrera 4s and im about to trade my truck in for a STI. it's cheaper, it's safe, it's reliable, it has four doors and five seats, and it keeps up with my 4s quite well. did i forget any other 'ignorant' comments?

I seriously can't see how this is supposed to be a good comparison< the porsche is far better in terms of Power, Brakes, Steering and handling, and is almost 2 times more costly than the STI WRX, the subaru tends to understeer more than the Porsche, it's not quite so sharp, but it's not a bad car though,
however, if this is to choose the better between these two, I would definately say it's the PORSCHE, by far...!!!
