CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY chp 59Uploaded by: llyrehs0004 Video Description: In the last chapter Sam broke up Kevin because Joe had showed Sam the letter, and Joe and Kevin were fighting. During dinner, Nick suggested taking a vacation cruise again. SHERYLL: A cruise? JOE: Yeah. It'll be like the time we met. [Sheryll and Joe sat down in her living room] SHERYLL: Yeah. So... who's going to go? JOE: Sarah and Nick, you and me... and Kevin and maybe Sam. SHERYLL: Do they have to come? [Even though Sheryll didn't say who, Joe knew] JOE: Kevin has to come, or we can't go. SHERYLL: I don't know Joe. JOE: It'll be fun and we don't have to hang out with them once we get on the ship. SHERYLL: What about my parents? JOE: They let you guys go on a cruise before. SHERYLL: But they didn't know about you guys then. JOE: What if I get my parents to talk to yours? SHERYLL: Maybe... JOE: Anyways... why don't we catch up with Nick and Sarah? I'm getting hungry. SHERYLL: Ok. [Sheryll got up and Joe took her hand and pulled her into a hug] JOE: I love you. SHERYLL: I—I love you, too. [Their words hung in the air. They didn't seem to sink in] NICK: Joe said he's on his way with Sheryll. SARAH: Ok. [Sarah and Nick are sitting in a small restaurant around the corner of Sarah's house where they had some privacy] NICK: So what do you think? Will your parents say yes? SARAH: Nick, I'd love to go, but I don't think my parents will cave. NICK: Just talk to them. I'll even have my parents talk to yours. SARAH: We'll see. SHERYLL: Hey you two! [Sheryll slid into the booth next to Sarah] JOE: What are you guys talking about? NICK: The vacation. JOE: Oh. Sarah, do you think your parents will let you? SARAH: I'm not sure. SHERYLL: Have any of you guys asked Sam? NICK: Nope. We were hoping that you guys would ask her. SHERYLL: She won't even answer my call. SARAH: I'll try and ask her. I haven't tried talking to her since the last time, though. SHERYLL: She doesn't have to come if she doesn't want to. JOE: Yeah but who would Kevin hang out with? NICK: She probably wouldn't hang out with him anyways. She broke up with him remember? JOE: Let's just order food. I don't want to talk about either of them. [They ate and talked about what ship to they wanted to ride. Joe joked that maybe they could get free tickets to go on the Disney Cruise ship] The next day SAM: Hello? SARAH: Hey Sam. SAM: What's up? [Sam didn't hang up on Sarah, but she didn't sound happy exactly] SARAH: I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. Just you and me. SAM: Um... yeah sure. I just got out of work, but give me 10 minutes to get ready. SARAH: Ok. SAM: I'll pick you up at your house? SARAH: Yeah, that'd be great. SAM: See you. [Sam hung up and got dressed into her casual clothes then picked up Sarah at her house. They went to Starbucks to talk] SARAH: How've you been? SAM: Really busy. Between school and work, I barely have any time to just lay back. And I've been applying to a lot of different colleges. SARAH: I should get to work on that. [They already graduated and have to get into a college before fall] SARAH: Where do you want to go? SAM: I was thinking about going to one of the colleges in Boston. [Sarah almost spit out her drink] SARAH: Boston? That's far Sam. SAM: I know, but I want to go somewhere far from here. SARAH: You don't have to go that far. SAM: Where do you want to go? SARAH: I want to get in UCLA. SAM: Cool. What about Sheryll? SARAH: Same. [Sarah didn't know if she should talk about Sheryll if she wanted to keep Sam in a good mood] SARAH: Oh yeah. We were wondering if you wanted to come with us on a little vacation. You know before we all separate and go to college. SAM: That sounds cool. Where do you want to go? SARAH: Well, we're going on a cruise. SAM: Wait, who's "we". SARAH: You, me, Sheryll... and the guys. [Sarah hesitated because she didn't know if Sam would take the info well] SAM: I could use a vacation. And my parents probably wouldn't let me go alone. [Sam played with the straw of her drink as she thought] SAM: I'll think about it. But I'm going to need to talk to my parents. SARAH: Same here. I still haven't gotten an answer from them. SAM: Sarah. I've really missed hanging out with you guys. It's just that it really hurt, what happened between Kevin and Sheryll. It just doesn't seem fair. SARAH: I'm glad that we both got to hang out. We should go out more. SAM: Definitely.
