You obviously don't understand how deductions work, you don't get the money back dollar for dollar. Also, punctuation, capitalization, and proper sentence structure are your friends. What I said is true for most all sales jobs, look at what you spend in gas and the number of hours you actually spend trying to sell your knives...break it down per hour for a pay period, you will likely be shocked. You CAN make good money in sales, but the time involved makes your per hour rate quite poor.

look i don't have time to edit youtube comments for punctuation I was just trying to make a point if you want to take personal jabs to make your self look like a big tough guy then by all means go ahead. But what i'm saying is taxes are taken out when you have a 9-5 not for contracts so any one bitching about taxes should go back and work for burger king and get their taxes calculated for them.

Big tough guy? Personal Jabs? Come on...how long does it take to just do it right the first time so your post does not look like a foreign 1st year English student posted it? You still have no clue about how deductions work and neither did the person I originally posted to. Yes you can claim mileage and the knife set against your taxes as work related expenses but you will not get the full amount of what you spent, or even close to it for that matter....Damn...little touchy?

i've been working there for 3 weekss and i've made so much money. The only reason people think it is a scam is because you actually have to work hard rather than taking a spatula and flipping a burger every 5 minutes

ANd it is NOT a scam. What you do is put a DEPOSIT on the knives. you don't have to keep them thats what the real misconception comes from. If you don't want to work anymore you can just send them in and you'll get your money back! no questions asked. i even had friends work with me who quit because it wasn't right for them, and they got their money back within 2 weeks.

I'm 18 i have learned so much since i started and it has turned my life around. I know more about time management and helping others realize their goals not only with the company but with school and outside life.
They have a positive atmosphere, i mean, where else can you find a job where they recognize you for hard work. I never had the luxury or support from anyone else.

yeah, i'm 18 also when i went to training... only for a few days and they want me to give them a check ($135 deposit) and i went in on a monday and told them i quit...i was out of there in less than 30 sec. so i dont want to work for a company who doesn't show me trust in working there so i comment on these videos. it felt great quiting that job... so if it's right for you than fine, but not for me

I work for them now. I haven't had any problems. It's a little irritating since you have to set up your own appointments, so you basically only get paid for how many people you know, but it's still money.

u only get 14.50 per appointment basepay when what you sold is LESS than how many appointments times 14.50. get it . and oh about the sample kit that u get, u DEPOSIT $146 which is a 70% discount. the real thing cost $540. then u could keep it or get YOUR MONEY BACK. and also ahh that lady and that fake ass santa who said is a waist of time, its a waist a time when the flipping burgers and french fries at mcdonalds for what 7.15/h lol. ima go to their job and say hey i want my fries well done!!!

Seriously...you are a dumbass. Vector is incredible. I've been with them for over 7 years. I've made over $50,000 every year. Last year I made $75,000 with them. I'm 26. So seriously, just cuz you suck at the job, there is no reason to spread viscous lies & blame the company. Vector has sent me to Mexico 4 times, Punta Cana, Maui, Vegas, and on a 7day cruise...all free paid vacations...just for doing my job. Stop spreading the hate, cuz you are seriously mistaken.

They're blasting rap music in their lobby full of potential hires and *I* look out of place? That's the ONLY company I've been to that's like that and I guess it was to appear more casual. HA! I'm glad I never wasted any more time with these folks and they may be seeing an appearance from Santa this holiday season.

Anyone who's ever had a bad experience with Vector Marketing has done so for one of a few reasons: The first and probably the most common is that the manager of the Vector Marketing office was lame. 2) the applicant wasn't self motivated and just wanted to have someone tell them what to do. The Vector opportunity has more potential for college students than any other company out there. If you want to flip burgers that's fine, but don't give an amazing company a bad rap because you can't cut it!

I work for Vector right now. I acknowledge that many of the techniques they use to recruit students are deceptive; however, it's easy money. Once you have one appointment you can just keep going.
I'm not selling a ton but my weekly paycheck is about $200 a week. I'm not killing myself I'm just doing 4 or 5 every weekend during the mornings when I'd normally just sleep in. Plus your commission keeps going up. I'm only at 25% right now but that will eventually get up to 50%
