What I meant was...Im 26. born in 1982. I appreciate "one of the best there was!" as much as you do. That means that even though i might be considered "kids these days", a classic is a classic. that means Curtis Mayfield's talent permeates generations. I can understand why it was great then, because its great now. I think we agree, we just misunderstood eachother. Peace.
