You are right, if not contstantly pushed, Kirk will lay down some of the worst shit possible. Some of the solo stuff on Magnetic is flat out horrid. He has become completely dependant on the Wah Pedal and it masking his mistakes it has hurt his playing IMO. I hear him over bending notes horribly out of tune while off the Wah pedal. Sad But True!

ur kidding right? theres no similarity between those two songs whatsoever! Enter sandman is a simple, quite short modern metal song with the famous riff. Ride The Lightning is pure thrash metal. long, sick solo and high pitched vocals. the riff doesnt sound similar at all to me?
