I do know that the world will end on a FRIDAY as the Qur'an says, but the 21st Dec 2012 is a Friday. Alot of non-muslims have said the world will end on this date, but I don't think any muslims have commented or said anything. I'm confused whether to believe this or not.

Only Allah knows when is the Day of Judgement. In the past, there were many people who "predicted" what the Last Day would be, and they were all proved wrong by Allah ta'ala. Knowledge of the Last Day is knowledge of the unseen and this is only in the knowledge of Allah. To claim to have the knowledge of the unseen is a lie and a sin, because this is knowledge that is unique to Allah.
And Allah knows best.
But it doesn't matter WHEN the Last Day is.

Thank Allah (pun intended)! I'm glad there are people who are willing to fight against these BS stories written by a bunch of ignorant old men. What really puzzles me is how anyone can take any of those stories seriously 2 thousand years later.
Humans know millions of times more now than they did 200 years ago...add another 0 and and the guys at that time know even less than some of our 5 year old kids..
