NIN last 3 albums have been monotonus shit. They all sound the same. He doesnt change at all. Ghosts was decent but hardly listenable.
Maynard from Tool actually contructs songs with challenging song structure and lyrics. Reznor doesnt even come close.

How can you say that Year Zero, Ghosts, and the Slip sound the same (those are the last three, unless you're talking about With_Teeth, in which you should have said last four)?
First of all, no two NIN albums sound exactly the same. Maybe they have similar elements and roots, but each album offers something different than the last. I think Year Zero and Ghosts are Trent's best albums to date. They do take a little bit of listening to in order for someone to like them, but they're great albums.

Maynard even admitted that he rarely came up with the core structure of any song, whether it be Tool or APC, and said, "I can work very well under parameters. I'm more of a reactive artist that a creative one." You have to give every member of Tool equal credit for the magic that they make, because they aren't Gun's and Roses with one asshole telling everyone what to do. NIN and Tool are both awesome bands, and I agree that people sometimes focus too much on Trent, but you say that and then turn around and put your hypocrite mouth on Maynard's cock.
