If you're as unfunny as Tom Arnold or Mencia you can walk onto the set of any television program today and be cheered on by the braindead people who still watch TV for comedy. In response to tattypatty's comment, (because my reply's never fucking show up as a reply)... I love stiller but, he was never that funny. Watch the stiller show... there's moments of genius but I can see why it was cancelled. It paved the way for Mr. Show. That's the purpose it serves for me anyway. Cross and Odenkirk created something really special when they did mr. show.
