yes, but this brings be back to my original point, slavery is wrong, even on abydos wat right does ra have? i mean, a couple of his guards are beat down and he basically pisses his pants and he trys to leave to enslave another planet they were right to bring the bomb

You are correct. Slavery is wrong. Very wrong. They were right to bring the bomb. But, that planet belonged to Ra. It's just like Cuba basically belonging to Fidel Castro. He can run it how he sees fit.
But, I understand all that you mean. I'm not sympathizing with the Goa'uld or anything. They're pretty much bastards.

Ra was the Supreme System Lord and God of gods. He curbed the squabbles of the other system lords, all of the other usurpers of his title tried to do that and failed. Also he discovered the use of humans as hosts and populated worlds for slave labor. After he died, the system lords fought amongst themselves for power, there wasn't anyone else but Ra who had the power to keep them all in line. So of course he's the best.

Naah, I like Ba'al and all, but he doesn't even need SG-1 to beat him (if you've seen the last movie you know what I'm talking about). Apophis has had more appearances than any other villain and usually got away. It took alot of misfortune (and luck for the good guys) to finally take him down (again, if he's even dead! hehe, I like to think he's living his life out in exile on a remote planet in another galaxy).
