In this cartoon a woman appears that is called possum pearl, after had a second one apparition in another cartoon with its name, I wanted to know if someone has knows the letter about the song that sings in that cartoon, because there are some parts, that I cannot understand.

Popeye wass trying for the spinach himself before it was shaken out of his hand by her picking up the tree. He said this calls for a little spinach and was about to down it. Possum could have cooked both oof their gooses at once....she did before the can landed on Olive's head out of dumb luck. That was a common theme. The spinach always found the victim.

not sure what you are asking on the songs. I know there was a Possum Pearl cartoon in which she tossed around men and did some of the same types of things as here, but it was released after this cartoon. I don't see a name reference to her as Possum in the Popeye cartoon. She reels in a bank robber in that one and later on a cop who both are not real happy to have her company.

Olive went on for a spin in the country and instead got a spinned into a tree stump by Possum and left embedded, unconcious, and without her man. Possum didn't need much effort and enjoyed Olive's plight.

I wish Possum had decided to test Olive's neck strength with some power packed punches to the face once she buried her in that tree stump instead of walking away. No telling how long she could have made Olive's neck stretch and Olive wouldn't have woken up no matter what hit her if POssum had given her a couple of good blows to finish her off.

"I'll teach you to chop down my popeye." 15 seconds later she's been drilled deeply into the tree stump and left for dead. Wish Possum would have seen Olive going for th spinach and tossed it away and then given her a boxing lesson while she was stuck in the tree stump. Kind of like the other alternate endings suggested. "go away skinny" and sending her through the wall right as they meet was classic.

Dang. Possum is one strong amazon. If Olive is 5-11 and 99 then she must be 5-11 and about 450 of pure power. Check out the width difference when they square up at 4 minutes and Possum carries her off to drill her into the stump. I like how she smiles as she's getting ready to bury her. She's darn happy she's about to drill Olive unconcious. Popeye has the "oh my gosh" as she's carrying her over.
