Some of the comments are strange and ugly which is unfortunate because this is truly a wonderful performance. The band lets the music flow without getting caught up in repititious, rhythmic hooks. Sanborn manages not to overplay, which is almost unheard of for him.
Mayfield demonstrates that remarkably soothing voice and an incredible tone while singing lyrics that are compelling and interesting. He is an absolute extraordinary musician whose songs have many, many memorable passages.
