u have to give it alot of time. Once you understand it and have listened to it alot of times, you start to understand the beauty of it. Not only is there bucket loads of passion in Jacks voice but the guitar work is out of this world.

When I first heard thier music, I thought "thats just a bunch of words that make no sence" and that Jack wasnt that great of a singer. Now I'm like completely in love with their stuff. Its just a little more Raw sounding then most bands (and I love it!) They always remind me of Nirvana for some reason. I loved the way Jack didnt let Technical Difficulties get in the way of a good song! Anyways thank you SO much- I loved this video

I think they are similar in passion, raw energy, and aiming for simplicity. Also, Kurt was pretty into the blues. At least, with Leadbelly, anyway.
