Yeah, I bought the DVD too... gave our band a lot of ideas on what we could do for our stage show. I love the surrealism of the atmosphere; especially the organic feel it has. A stark contrast to the "blah blah machines and computer" atmosphere of the shit that most bands do now a days.

Manson ripped Christian Death, look at the original 1982 video (on youtube btw) for Romeo's Distress and you'll see that Manson is a dead ringer of Rozz.

But anyway, I have to agree. Cliche is something we're trying like hell to avoid. Everything's been done, and in this day and age, it's hard not to come off as ripping someone off. "Hey why don't we do this? NOPE, so and so already did it"
I don't think the fact that I have a very deep ogresque voice doesn't help matters any either. hah. But we're having fun with it, so it'll be very interesting to see where it goes, if anywhere.

Erm, Manson stole and used Ogre's stilt-harness idea on tour. Fanboys were convinced Manson was original and later on purchased the McFarlane Manson figurine - packaged with the memerable stage prop... Ogre was pretty cheesed off about that, he told me.
