My 3 Yr old Red Eared Slider

This is my 3 yr old Red Eared Slider, she is housed in a 75 gallon aquarium with filter and heater along with a UVB lamp and a basking dock. Her name is Daliyus...She is very nice,She never bites and she may scratch from time to time but, she loves long walks on the side walks and enjoys a few live fish from time to time with ocassional fruits. Her favorite color is black and she loves shiny things. Enjoy! (If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. :)
UPDATE: My turtle laid her first egg 6/23/07

Hey COOL Turtle
i have three 6 month old RES`s and they live in a big pond. one of them has been swimming around like a MAD FISH, real stressed out for about a day now!! and she has`nt eaten.
i had a close look at her and i found a big Bee sting stuck under her neck.
Dose any one know what i can do for her??
and do you tihnk she will die??
any tips would be great. thanks

lol No, Not saything they cant drown but when turtles hibernate; Mainly aquatic turtles; they hiberate under water and mudd and they go without oxygen for 4/5 months!

You tell a red eared slider apart from a boy or girl by there shell. If it goes in a little on the bottom of the shell then its a boy. If it goes out a little its a girl.

you can also tell male from female by the nails. if it has long nails its a boy. short, its a girl. i have 2 red eared sliders. i am getting a male soon so they can lay eggs. If anyone neeeds help on turtles just mail me and i will be happy to help you.

ok I got some tips for you a baby turtle for every 10 gallons or so, need a good filter for 20 gallon tank need 40 gallon filter you need a heat lamp a heater full spectrum lighting and Reptomin plus crickets and worms for treats stuff like that
