I believe Sparta will grow out of the biting and fighting when he's older than 2 or so. Years ago I had a great boy kitty who would assault my arm viciously, but he stopped after a couple of years. I did get him a foot-long stuffed sock type toy that I would give him to attack instead of me. He loved it.

My cat had a biting problem when she was younger, for many cats it's something they grow out of.
Anyway, to stop biting I suggest flicking his nose gently as he bite, not after, and using a spray bottle with water in it to help train him... Also provide toys meant to attacking like jingly things or stratching posts. next time your holding him take one of the toys he likes to play with (like a plush one) and direct his biting towards it in stead of your hands while you pet him. =^.^=

1.If he bits you put him out side
if that dosent work try this
2.flick his nose.Not Hard.
If that dosent work ur on r own

Ok, I have a kitten just like yours, named Vincent. and when he bites, I spank his butt. it has worked. Or simply I just spank once lightly and say No. yeah it's what you originally say for a dog but trust me it works. and with the jumping screen, tap his butt or just make him sit with you. once he gets pulled away enough he should learn...nto mine though -.-...he attacks me every morning, climbing up my legs to my shoulders. Be happy cause so far I haven't seen that yet. XD

my kitty bites sometimes, but kisses you after, i taught him not to bite hard with a squirt gun, just sprayed him every time he was naughty, like when he tried to sleep in our dinner plates, or tries to hop in the fridge when we open it n such, he doesnt do it so much anymore
