Searched it, and not impressed. look who conducted the test. CAR AND DRIVER. Arguably the most bias magazine to american cars. I am American and I say our cars suck! Even if they are less expensive, WHO WANTS THEM!!!! I will take my slower 0 - 60 porsche any day over a corvette piece of garbage...

ndont tell me motortrend and car and driver arent good reviewers of cars. haha they get better 0 to 60 results and quarter mile runs then euro magazines and reviewers. in fact motortrend reviewed the gt2 and said it was hte fastest car ever last year , 0 to 60 3.4 and 11.4 quarter mile. Euro magazines said it hit 60 in 3.7 with a 11.5 quarter mile. and you cant argue with the numbers they arent being biased and when they tookhte gt3 and z06 around the track the z06 had aslightly quicker time

So go buy your piece of crap Z06 and even if you do win... you will still be the unlucky guy with an american piece of crap Z06. A lexus is also more reliable than a ferrari, but you won't see me driving it. again exclusivity .... understand the concept!

Not a fan of both cars, but hands down to the GT2. It gave the Z06 a head start and quickly equalise on 2nd gear, from there the GT2 just gone.

victory for the Germans, is laughable, it's like all Europe car shows that compare the corvette against something that costs twice as much, why not compare it to something in it's price range (they can't, nothing is even close) This was not even a fair comparison... the gt2 is a watered down stripped out 911 turbo... so if you want to compare apples to apples it would either be the corvette c6R or the corvette ZR1 for a fair comparison (still 60,000 less)... the z06 compares to the carerra s

but they are comparing apples to apples on performance claims. they're pretty close or are you seeing something different? it's not porsche's fault chevy decided to sell the vette so relatively cheap. this wasn't a test on which car is the best bang for your buck, cuz the vette would pwn. this was a performance comparsion. what i'd like to see is an american company make a 6 cylinder supercharger/turboed production car and be in the same league with the GT2 - buick gnx? i think not

everyone here has to realize the porsche is 130000 dollars more than the z06. u could prolly strap a supercharger on than z06 and it will rape the gt2.
